Dr. Ghulam Mohey-ud-din is a Principal Economic Planner, Policy Advisor, and Applied Researcher with over 18 years of multidisciplinary experience across economic research, public policy, and data-driven strategic planning. His career bridges academia, government, and the private sector — anchored in the conviction that sound data and rigorous analysis form the indispensable foundation of sustainable development.
Currently serving as Principal Economic Planner at Parsons Corporation, assigned to the Royal Commission for Jubail and Yanbu (RCJY) in Saudi Arabia, he leads formulation and evaluation of large-scale socio-economic strategies aligned with Vision 2030 — including comprehensive development frameworks for Yanbu Industrial City, one of the Gulf's most strategically significant economic zones.
Before Parsons, he served as Director of Economic Affairs at CASS — Pakistan's premier defence and strategic studies think tank — founding and leading their Economic Affairs Department. Prior to that, six years as Senior Urban Economist at The Urban Unit, Government of Punjab, leading the economic components of the Punjab Spatial Strategy (US$60M, World Bank) and Punjab Planning & Policy Support Programme (PKR 200M).
