Access to inclusive and sustainable infrastructure is of paramount importance for equitable spatial development. This paper examines the level of infrastructure development across Punjab’s districts, analyses spatial disparities, and conducts spatio-temporal comparison of infrastructure performance. The Infrastructure Development Index (IDI) is constructed combining social infrastructure and public utility sub-indices, and is mapped at district level to reveal geographic concentration of infrastructure provision and deprivation. Benchmarking analysis compares district performance against provincial averages, and temporal comparison tracks infrastructure change over time. Findings provide an empirical platform for infrastructure investment planning and spatial equity policy.
